this recipe says to start with a WASC cake then add the kahlua,mudslide mix and water. Do I add these in place of the liquid ingredients that are in the WASC or do I add them as well as the original WASC liquid ingredients?
I say replace them.I followed the Gourmet Flavors thread for awhile and she always replaces the liquid and sour cream to make the different flavors.HTH
I replace the liquid and sour cream with the other ingredients. I have done many variations with the WASC. I call it my "mad-lib" cake recipe! You can use any combination of box, any liquid, and any "cream" ingredient (yogurt, sour cream). The possibilities are endless!
