my daugther birthday is on 4/3 she will be 17yrs. I love the Juicy Couture Handbag cake and would like to Can anyone tell me how to construct this cake?????

When I made my purse cake I made sheet cakes. Then I cut it cross wise so I had pieces about 5x 8 and stacked them and carve into the shape I wanted. You'll need cake boards between every 2 layers and support. I cut my fondant in pieces just like the leather in the purse is before it's sewn together and applied them. Hope that's clear,lol. And I hope it helps.

I made my first purse cake yesterday and I think it turned out ok ... not great but for the first one I was happy.. I used 2 8 inch cakes.. I have also seen where people use a sheet cake like paulstonia said.. I will try that method next. Good Luck !
