Just wondering what brand you use for Gumpaste? Or do you make your own?

I make mine, Nicholas Lodge's recipe. I have never had a problem with it.

I've only used Wilton since I can't find tylose anywhere. I want to try Nicholas Lodge's receipe but it calls for tylose. I think I may have to order it online, can't find it in stores.

I can't ususally get it in stores either. I get mine online also. I have heard you can use CMC also, which is cheaper. I am going to try that next time I order.

I did a cake with a lot of gumpaste flowers not too long ago and needed a lot - so I bought a 2 lb. bucket of satin ice gumpaste from globalsugarart. I've really liked it way better than the Wilton one - and I keep it in the refridgerator - it keeps a long time.

I just bought the Satin Ice Gumpaste. I've heard good things about it, but i've only ever used the Wilton gumpaste. I'm not a fan of it, so i'm looking forward to the new change. Tyclose is hard to find where i live as well, i think that is why i've never made it before.
