How do I achieve that poured tomoto sauce look?

Can you thin out some strawberry jam?

Perhaps use red colored piping gel. It will drizzle or spread well. LOL

Or raspberry or strawberry cooked puree. If it's too "pink" in color you could darken it with red food coloring.

Most of the spaghetti cakes/cupcakes I've seen here utilized some sort of fruit jam or puree.

Great ideas, everyone! Thanks... I do want it lighter because it will look like a canned tomatoe soup sauce, actually. I may even have to add some red with a whitener to the jam. I'll play around. I'll post photo when done!
