How do I get the powdered sugar of the fondant?

Dust it with a clean, dry, soft brush. If that doesn't get enough of it off, take a small piece of fondant and roll it in a ball, then use it like an eraser on the powdered sugar. If that doesn't work, paint the fondant with vodka and let it dry. It will be a little shiny but will dry with no powdered sugar visible.

take a paper towel and put some crisco on it and rub down the fondant. The shinniness will go away pretty quickly. If it's a small area I'll use a paint brush with crisco on it. Works like a charm...I got that tip from SugarShacks DVDs. They're well worth the money.

Steaming also works.
