My cousin and her beau are finally talking marriage. They call each other muffin and biscuit...don't ask...so they want a muffin and a biscuit on the groom's table. I'm going to make a muffin from the big 3D cupcake pan but have no idea where to start making a cake that looks like a biscuit. Any suggestions??

How about taking two 10" - carve the sides, and top to resemble a biscuit. Cover in BC with a slightly off white icing, add some light brown in spots - then create a large pat of butter from fondant.

Instead of carving you could do lots of layers with filling. Don't smooth them all together and so they would look like the flaky layers of a biscuit. Then color and top with "butter pat" like Tclanton suggested. ?????
