How To Find Events In Your Area?

How do you find events in your local area? I can only ever seem to find the huge events that are several states away. I'd love to be able to browse vendors and see other peoples work on display, but have no success in finding anything in the Orlando or the surrounding areas. Anyone have any pointers in ways to find more cake and baking related events in their areas? Thanks in Advance!

Just an fyi that there is an "Events" forum here in CC for you to view a lot of cake events all around the country and other countries.
