I've seen the wilton one, but is there another company that makes a Giant Cupcake pan? I've been looking at pictures of them, and some of the cupcake bases look taller than others - which is what I want.

Taller base:

I can't see your example photos, but Williams-Sonoma sells another cupcake pan: http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/the-great-cupcake-cake-pan/?cm_src=oldlink&pkey=cbkwcakspt

I saw one at Wal-Mart tonight that isn't made by Wilton but it isn't silicone. It looks like it may be a little bit smaller than the Wilton cup cake pan. I'm thinking I may buy one on my next Wal-Mart trip.

I saw a silicone one at Bed Bath and Beyond - and I think it was only $19.99 which is significantly less expensive than the Wilton one. It looked about the same size, but there have been lots of posts here about difficulty baking in the metal one because the cupcake top takes less time to bake than the bottom - with the silicone ones I suspect you could cut the 2 sections apart so that the top half could be pulled from the oven sooner than the bottom section.

I've seen Nordicware sell them at WalMart. Haven't tried it though.

Me, too! I'm gonna put it to use for a May birthday, though! You can get them in stores now. My hubby got mine from Walgreens.
