I'm thinking about trying the lambeth style borders with fondant flowers. Would the lambeth style look odd on a fondant covered cake or should it be used only on BC?

I want to make my mom a cake for mother's day, she doesn't live around here and has never had one of my cakes.

Lambeth when done according to the style of the creator, is done in royal icing on fondant.
