I was asked to do a spring themed cake however I just found out it is for a man. Spring to me seems really girlie so I want to incorporate baseball since he enjoys it. But I am stumped with ideas on how to combine the two together to make them happy??? A Spring Themed Baseball Cake?? Help Please!!

What about a man out mowing the outfield?

Baseball diamond on a green field, few bats and balls laying around, some flowers scattered around, maybe a bluebird sitting on a bat. Maybe a flowering tree to the side of the infield.

I'm sorry I don't have any ideas I just wanted to say that I hate having to come up with something for a man. Isn't that the hardest? Or is it just me?

that's a tough one, unless you know what he's into!

Well these are all good ideas. BUT it is assuming he is a manly man. I have male friends that like flowers and gardening . If I were you I would get a little more info on his personal likes.

I did a gardening cake (two yrs in a row, actually!) for a man who LOVES his garden, yardwork, etc. Included a John Deere wanna-be tractor, garden tools, and a half-mowed lawn.
