Do you graduate the size of pearl borders as the size of the cake graduates, or is it okay to put the same size on, for every cake. My cakes will be 6'', 8'' and 10''. I'm not sure what size pearl would be suitable for each. I am leaning towards 4mm,5mm and 6mm. Your input will be much appreciated.

I think the same size looks nice..........depends on if you're going for a funkier look (different graduated sizes) or a sleek, traditional look (all the same size)

I've been meaning to write a post on pearls myself and ask what size should be used for wedding cakes? I look at all the different size sets and am ready to order, then stop myself because I'm just not sure which size is probably best to use.
