They brides colors are navy blue and silver. How should i do the top of this cake? How do I get this effect without the bride running into the background and mixing colors? I was thinking of using modeling chocolate.

This cake looks to be airbrushed. The decorator would have made stencils of the bride and the flowers to cover those spots on the cake and then airbrushed the brown on. After the color is set - remove the stencils which leaves a nice crisp silhouette on the cake. Beautiful cake.

*lol* Did anyone notice that the cake "topper" is a lot larger than the actual cake?
