Hi All,

I have seen cake balls on line and heard them talked about in here and I would like to have a go at them. They have not really taken off in the UK yet and I would like to do some experiments with postage and see if I can get ahead of the competition on this one.

My questions is, can anyone recommend a good book or website with instructions and recipes for making cake balls.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm relatively new with cakes and to this site.
I came across this website (on a thread here) that has a recipe and also some cute ideas. HTH
Good luck!

CC is a good website with cake ball recipes and more...

There are cake ball recipes in the CC recipes section, as well as imbedded in threads. There are photos of cake balls in the CC photo galleries.

Here's a CC article on cake balls to get you started:

And a very large thread on cake balls:

Fruitcake cake balls as wells as baked & unbaked cake ball recipes:

P.S. You might also be interested in cake pops:

Thanks for your responses everyone - I have made a chocolate fudge cake tonight which I had to trim down so I will be trying some of the recipes from CC tomorrow. I fancy chocolate orange. Yum!
