I purchased some wilton fondant and I am having a problem with the fondant breaking...I can't seem to get it to the right consistancy. I tried to add powdered sugar and crisco but it is just making it worse...when I try to roll it, it is all cracked....any suggestions?

Wilton fondant is harder to work with than MMF but a rule of thumb to remember is: if it cracks add crisco and knead it in, if it's sticky add powdered sugar and knead it in. The idea is to get a smooth dough like a pizza dough. I use the basic MMF recipe and love it!

If it is a bit sticky I still add a small amount of crisco.
