I'm making petits fours. I made the Quick-pour-fondant out of the Wilton book did not much care for it. is there any other poured icing that I can do, maybe candy-melts? or would in be better to just cover them in mmf. I'm doing 50 and would like to make them 2 X 2 1/2 round. Thank you for any help. Jackie

Ugh. Petit fours are a pain. Covering all of those in rolled fondant would take an eternity. You can make a white chocolate ganache glaze by melting white candy melts and heavy cream. One hint is to keep all the mini cakes in the freezer and just pull a couple out at a time to coat. HTH!

I sometimes use a mixture of half candy melts and half of the fondant icing you made. It's not quite as sweet.

Thank you for the advice, I will give them a try. I couldn't say no they are for our local Hospice care volunteer's.
