Can I Use A 3" Deep Pan And Not Fill It As Much?

I need to get a Magic Line 11 x 15 x 2 inch pan TODAY. The only store I could find that was reasonably close to me has an 11 x 15 x 3. Will it be okay to get it and just not fill it up as high?
