I made spiderman head ahead of time....problem is I put it on a dowel rod and balanced the head on a vase....now............how am I going to get the head off there and onto the cake without messing it all up??????? Is there a way to get out of how I painted myself into a corner icon_redface.gif

Can you set it in the freezer just long enough for it to get "firm"? Then it might move more easily. This really sounds like something I would do icon_surprised.gif

Shove skewers into his eyes and lift him off. Then cover the small holes with R/I.

It's not normally a good idea to stick your head in a vase icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif
Could you just not place your fingers inbetween the black piping around the base and lift gently? I think stiking skewers in your eyes is a good answer but as it is only styrofoam lifting from the bottom might be easier to repair. icon_rolleyes.gif

May have to break the vase. icon_lol.gif

Ok, so don't really do that. I'd to with scrummymummy's advice.
