Can anyone tell me what a wood angler is? It is on my list of supplies for a gumpaste flower class I am taking.

It's not an angler--it's an anger. Must be a typo.
It's a wooden ruffling tool.
If you open the page below, you'll see it below the cutters and the ball tool.

You can use any other ruffling tool and achieve the same results.
