Hi all,
A friend of the family is requesting 40 cupcakes for his son's confirmation party. He just wants something simple, so no major decorations, just pretty cupcakes in nice cups and buttercream, maybe some kind of garnish (shredded coconut if they choose red velvet or colorful sanding sugar on top). What would be a good price for this? I can get the ingredients easily, it's just a matter of buying materials for packaging and transporting them to the event. I'm in brooklyn, ny and I think I'm his only option other than a local supermarket. I appreciate any feedback on this!
Thanks!
Stacy

The phrase "nice cups" caught my eye-is he interested in the fancy, laser-design cut ones? They run $1 each!! Just an FYI icon_smile.gif I actually love cupcakes, I think they are fast, easy and low stress! My "plain" price is $2 each, but I am in the midwest.

Our local cakery sells cupcakes for $2.50-2.99/each....in San Diego. Just your average, plain, simple cupcake.
