I have a bride who would like to alternate square and round cakes, but she wants roses between the tiers. I haven't seen any photos like this but I assume it can be done? And how can it be done? do I just use alternating plates and pillars? It seems like it must be doable, I just haven't seen it.

If you have a photo of this I'd love to see it. Thanks!

Yes. This can be done. Try looking in the mixed shapes gallery.

I did but I was only able to find one. This does indicate it can be done though. Thanks!
