What is the best way to make fondant silver? Can it be tinted silver or should it be dusted with luster dust or something similar?

the best way is to use an air brush.
other than that colour the fondant grey, then use a silver lustre dust. can brush it on dry, or paint int on mixed with strong clear alcohol.
