Has anyone just added oreas to their cake batter before? How does it turn out? Do they go all soggy, or stay a little bit cruchy? Thanks!!

I have a recipe that does that. It calls for crushed oreos, not whole cookies. They do not stay crunchy. They are kind of the same texture as the cake. It is very good! HTH

Thanks tastyart...I'm going to try just throwing them in a vanilla cake and see how it turns out...maybe with some mint BC!

I do that also and toss handfuls of broken pieces on top of the frosting between the layers... those tend to stay a little crunchier and they're delicious!
