Hi all!
I was planning on making some daisies with half gumpaste and half fondant (they taste better that way). I'm just wondering how far in advance I can make them. I know you can keep gumpaste flowers for a long time, but I'm not sure if that applies if you have fondant in them too. Thanks!

All of the figures I make are a mixture of fondant and tylose powder--which has the same effect, it firms up the fondant--and they keep for MONTHS. Some of the people on those cake toppers have been around for a year. The color fades in a couple of months, but that's it.

I still have figures from a cake I did 2 years ago!
