I keep seeing these beautiful cakes sitting on "ruffled" fabric cake boards. Does anyone know how to do this. It is such a pretty addition to the wonderful cakes that I have seen.
I would love to see more ideas for cake boards. They are so boring sometimes. Thanks for any help!

Do you have a picture? I just made a ruffled fabric cake stand for a wedding cake photo shoot. I gathered the fabric and pinned it onto a styrofoam dummy. It was quite easy but took a bit of time to gather the entire thing.

I made one, under my fall floral cake. I got a piece of insulation, the solid board like insulation, it's like 2 1/2 inches thick. Cut it to the size I needed. The I just made like a giant hair scrunchie. I think it looked nice. I will try and post a link.
