I bought the KA food grinder attachment years ago and never used it. But, this weekend i pulled it out of the box and decided to ty it for the strands in my tassles.
It makes the strands come out sort of textured, but it worked like a dream.
Just attach it to the mixer, put in the fondant, and out come the strands...
I'm going to try it with the fatter openings next.....

I used to hand roll them becasue I'm not too fond of the way the molded tassles look, so this is a dream....you can see the tassles in the newest photo in my gallery.

That is putting it to good use! I love the tiara you did - never have seen one done that way. The cake is gorgeous!

I like the texture, it makes it look more realistic. All the real tassels I've seen have a texture to them. Cute cake! icon_smile.gif
