I use lb. cake all the time when using fondant. I feel safer and it holds up nice under the fondant. I love my lb. cake recipe. I do not have a choc. lb. cake recipe and am in desperate neeeeeeeeed..... I found a choc. cake recipe under the butter cake catagory in my cook book. I made it and it is so flimsy. No way will it hold up especially after I carve it....... HELP.

It was so expensive too. I used really nice specialty coco powder icon_cry.gif and can not use it. DOes anyone have a choc. lb. cake recipe To lend that is a true or really sturdey pound. I need these cakes baked today. My kids are with my mother and it is my last free chace to get it done. It is for a very good friend of mines mother so I want it to be exra special for her. THanks so much.
