My friends in San Diego purchased 30 cupcake carriers for christmas gifts.

I will be buying 10 from here ($16.99) when I visit her.

These will be christmas gifts to friends, coworkers and family members.

You can find the cupcakes carriers at costco

thanks for the tip. How much clearance do you have for frosting from the top layer and the lid? I have the Crate and Barrel two tier carrier and if i put a nice swirl mound on top, it will hit icon_sad.gif I'm wondering if this would happen with the costco one?

Are these found in the warehouse (regular retail item) or are you getting them from the bakery??

I'm not positive, as I don't shop at Costco, but I think it's this one:

If so, you can do a really nice swirl on top and they don't smash. I've even put a heart decoration stuck into the swirl, making it about 1/2" taller than usual, and they still didn't smash.

I love mine! (Even though I paid a LOT more + shipping!)

I have this carrier... You can have a nice pile on the top tray...but you have to watch on the bottom 2, as they are closer together. But I love it!!!!! The best gift I've ever recieved.
