Hi Guys,

Technically my first post on here but I've been a lurker for awhile now.

I've run into a slight problem. Initially I planned on using a hot glue gun to add the filigree pattern to some Comedy/Tragedy masks I have made for a cake. But decide it wasn't going to work that way.

My question is can I using royal icing on top of already dried/painted(with lustre dusts) gumpaste? Or will it make the colors run and the gumpaste to go soggy?

Thanks

Isabella

You can use the RI with no problems.

The filigree pattern won't be the same color, it's like technically I'm putting a border on the mask in certain places. so a glue won't work as i'm not adding anything like more gumpaste to it.
