My husband lost both parents last Wednesday and I was giving a request by the immediate family to do a cake for the luncheon before the funeral and I want to do the cake that Cake Boss, Buddie, did during his fathers memorial, with the strawberrys and fruit. Just because that was there favorite cake. Can anyone help me find his video online, I know I seen it on here before but am having no luck and I'm very tired so that may be why i can't find it. I appreciate all your help right now.

Love,
Chippi

Hi, I am so sorry for your loss.

The episode you are looking for is called "A Fire, A Fashionista, and Family" I recorded it and my son earased it before I get a chance to make notes on that special family cake.

@ cathyscakes; if you share it on this page I will appreciate it too.

Sorry everyone I never received replies in my email so just now got back here to check it. Thank you I have a couple ideas, two gold rings on top a very large sheet cake tied together with 2 white gumpaste doves sitting in the center where the rings connect or 2 sheetcakes one larger than the other stacked, border of icing with strawberrys (choc. cov.) lining both layers w/ their pic (edible image) applied to center (like buddy's cake). what do you think?

It sounds just right.
I can't imagine that anyone will really be thinking about how anything looks or tastes that day and you came up with a lovely idea. Very sorry about your loss. Take care, don't stress about the cake.
