I am making a square tier cake. I cant find any cake boards that are square to put each tier on. What can I use? Is poster board too flimsy to use for my second and third tier?

Thanks!

Alot of people use foam core boards you get at craft stores. You can also get the rectangle cake boards and cut those down to size.

Hi cakedulce,

I buy my boards at logicpic.com. They have boards and drums and they are plastic coated foamcore. Prices are reasonable although you have the added cost of shipping. I really like their products.

I just got some square cake boards from Bakery Crafts. They're pretty reasonable and shipping is fast.
