I just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who helped me with all my questions in the forums, pm's, picture comments, and tutorials! I like to make sure I have it completely straight in my head before I attempt anything. icon_smile.gif I finally did my first decorated cookie, NFSC and Antonia74's RI. Together these two are delicious!

I had SO much fun making these cookies, so much more enjoyable and relaxing than doing cakes! I started taking the Michael's Cake Decorating course almost 2 months ago, and I like it, but I LOVE doing these cookies!
Anyway, enough of that. Thanks everyone! I posted a pic of my first cookie. icon_smile.gif

Totally bitten! I started coming on this site for cake ideas. I didn't even touch the cookie forum for the first bit. Now I'm completely hooked! icon_biggrin.gif

They're so pretty! Can I please ask how you managed to get the yellow sugar JUST in the center and not all over the purple frosting?

Sure! Basically I did the purple flood first, then 2 hours later, when the top was definitely dry I did the yellow flood and put the sprinkles on, a lot of sprinkles, right after I flooded each yellow. Then 30 min later I quickly tilted them to get the excess sprinkles off. Because the top of the purple was already dry I didn't have to worry about the sprinkles sticking to it. Hope that helps! icon_smile.gif
