Deep Colors In Fondant

I haven't been able to get nice, deep colors in fondant. They always come out muted or pastel. Does anyone have any tips on how to get deep/dark colors? I bought Duff's black fondant just because I needed black and couldn't get past a really nasty brown/gray color. Any help is appreciated!

I just buy black, red, and purple Satin Ice. Much easier icon_lol.gif . If you are making your own fondant, add the color as part of whatever liquid you use in your recipe. The entire batch is colored that way, but the taste, color, and texture will be better than trying to knead in massive amounts of color.
