Can yo u freeze fondant and gumpaste ?

if you freeze it, then it gets super, duper hard. Popping it back in the microwave will eventually cause it to crack and dry out.

Keep it in an airtight container.

I've never done it personally but I have hard about freezing it many of times.

I was trying to purchase some in a large bucket so I would not have to order anymore anytime soon and just wanted to know the best way of keeping or storing it for some period of time, I did not want to waste my money and it gets hard.
