Hi everyone.. i have done a search for this but cannot find anything.. icon_smile.gif
I would like to set up a home based business in Australia. I have tried looking up websites the food authorities/ councils and keep coming to a dead end.. No one seems to have much information on what i need to do to register as a home cake decorator icon_confused.gif ..
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I am currently selling cakes to friends and family... At not much more than cost but the orders are rolling in and i think that there could be a real potential to make some extra money.
Any advice is much appreciated icon_smile.gif
Thanks Rach

Ring up your local council and health department and they should be able to help you in regards to all the info you need thumbs_up.gif

Thanks guys.. getting the run around from the food authorities but ill try the council and see if they can give me more info.. Everything that i have come across so far has been for a comercial business not a home based one .

I live on the Central Coast NSW. I'm finding info for other states but nothing for my area.. I'm going to try the council again today and see if i can get further..
