has anyone had any look making the color taupe from "warm brown" and "teal"? this is what the americolor chart suggests but it just sounds a little funky to me icon_smile.gif.

BASED ON MY ART COLOR THEORY BACKGROUND, WARM-BROWN, WHICH IS A RED BROWN IS MIXED WITH IT'S OPPOSITE ON THE COLOR WHEEL (AKA COMPLIMENTARY COLORS) BLUE -GREEN OR TEAL SHOULD YEILD A NICE EARTHY TAUPE COLOR WHEN IT IS MIXED WITH WHITE TO MAKE A TINT. YOU MUST TINT LIGHTLY WITH BOTH OR YOUR COLOR WILL GET TO DARK TOO QUICKLY BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE TEAL IT WILL GET TO GREEN FAST. ALSO USING THE COMPLIMENTARY COLOR THING WILL HELP WHEN YOU NEED BROWNOR TAN AND ARE OUT OF COLOR. RED/ GREEN, YELLOW-VIOLET, AND BLUE AND ORANGE. ALSO, EACH COLOR COMBO WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH A DIFFERENT BROWN.
