Hello Creative beings,

I am in need of some ideas - I just can't get my head around this request.

I have a client who wants a marquise diamond shaped wedding cake. She wants it to look like a wedding cake but in the shape of a marquise diamond. My thoughts were to maybe do 3 tier - bottom two tiers in the shape of a marquise diamond and the top cake an actual cut marquise diamond with facets in it. I can use pearl lustre dust and accent with silver lustre dust but I am not sure.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas along a similar or even different path.

She has also mentioned that she is not a fan of fondant and would probably prefer buttercream !

Thanks in anticipation,

In looking at your photos, anything that you create will be awesome - you have lots of talent.

Post your final pic - would love to see it.

Thanks!
