I have one of these containers I usually make a lot of buttercream because I hate to end up running out in the middle of my cake, and usually if I have alot left over I make mini cupcakes and have my moms customers get them free with the purchase of coffee and such.

Anyhow I made a big batch on Feb 14th and I have quite a bit left over, I was going to throw it out but my mom tasted it and shes like no its good why are you going to toss it? (I need to make a new batch Im making a baby shower cake for my best-friend)

My question is should I toss it? its been kept in my moms commercial fridge sealed in its container. What do you ladies think?

This is the container that I keep it in with its lid of course.

I have those same containers in the square style and I just love them. icon_biggrin.gif

Oh, but back to your question! What type of frosting is it, and how long has it been in the 'fridge?

If it's a pretty standard American b/c, it should be fine for at least a month.
