Hi, I have a yellow cake mix and wanted to know if I could use baileys irish cream in place of the 1 1/2 cups H20?

I am not sure about replacing the water but if you wanted to use the baileys as a flavouring to teh cake you can wash the cooked cake with baileys and it will absorb into the cake and leave it flavoured. I do it with chocolate cakes icon_biggrin.gif yummy

I have been infusing different liquors into my cakes, usually 2parts water,1 part liquor. I personally haven't had much luck with the Baileys(not a very distinct flavor). I had a request for it, and ended up using it in my filling instead. that turned out good!

I never add water to the liqour when adding to the the baked cake just brush it neat, and it tastes great, I have also added it to fillings and toppings such as creamcheese frosting and chocolate cream.
