How long will it take fondant figures to dry? Does it matter what kind of fondant?

Hi, when I make figures, I use 50/50 mix of gumpaste and fondant or modeling paste. Never fondant alone. And I make them a week ahead, so it has lot of time dry completely.

May I ask you what you are making? icon_smile.gif

I use (totally) fondant and add some tylose if its 3d, you can let them dry for 2 hours, or put them in the freezer for a while

I use a combination 50/50 fondant and gum paste. I place my figurines next to a dehumidifier to speed up the drying time. Usually takes a couple days to dry.
