I am making a 16 x 22 " cake for a 200+ Bar Mitzvah. I am Catholic so I don't know much about this stuff. I am making a full sheet cake, 2 layers, with a scroll (torah) on the top. I want to stencil the word Mazel Tov in Hebrew alternating with Mazel Tov in English. I am having a very hard time finding this. I even tried a transfer sheet, but the colors were brown and yellow. The colors of the ckae are blue, gold, and ivory...so that won't work. Any ideas/websites/advice you can share? I only have 2 weeks left!
You could make your own stencils, I've done it for other things before using acetate sheets.
I printed the design from the internet and used a craft knife to cut the stencil.
Lindsey...can you elaborate more on how you did that....maybe PM me? I think that would be the best option so I could tailor it to look exactly how I need it to. Is the acetate paper something I could buy at a Craft Store (AC Moore, Michaels)?
Thanks you "cookiemookie". Unfortunately, after hours of google searches, I also came across these. But, they just aren't what I need. Thanks for helping, though.
will do !
