I always make buttercream, but for some reason tonight it got stiff. Any suggestions on how to soften up again or do I have to start all over???
Is is cold? Or dry? I'd try mixing in some more liquid.
Its room temperature....I wonder should I add a little more milk...This never happens to me.
Its not cold...maybe a little dry...
I would add some milk/water a few drops at a time. That should thin it out for you.
I use a little bit of light corn syrup to thin mine. I use the all-shortening recipe though. Works for me! HTH
