Can I buy just any silicone modes to put HOT candy in. for example I want to make gems I would use iso malt right...now can I put hot sugar int the mold?

I got some silicone molds from First Impressions, and it says it was safe for hard candy (there's instructions on the site)... I am not a candy maker, so I can't say for sure what would and would not work... but it says its safe...
