I am making a cyrstal ball cake for this Saturday. If I cover the ball in buttercream, then put Wilton's Rainbow Sugar Sparkles all over it, will the sparkles melt if cake is stored in the refrigerator? I'm worried they'll just melt right into the icing. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated=)Robyn

No, your sparkles won't "melt" into the BC.

Thanks for the reply! I watched an episode of Cake Boss and Buddy's sugar work melted after being refigerated, so I was afraid that may happen on this cake.
