Hey everyone out there, I was wondering if any of you could help me. I am making a baby blocks cake for a friend of mine and was wondering how you would stack it.

I will be using a 13" base, in the middle I will put the blocks made out of cake and fondant, then a 4 " cake on the top. Something like the below cake that I found in the gallery (except the blocks will be made out of cake and not hollow gumpaste and there will be no bear). Can anyone help?

Just dowel like you normally would...you'll probably be putting at least 1 dowel into each of the block cakes, directly underneath where the cake on top will sit.

Might be best to hold a cardboard cake circle over the block cakes and mark so you know you've got the dowels in there to support the weight evenly.
