Hello everyone I'm in the process of tring to paint on a fondant plate that I made using no Taste Red. Do I use just use the color or do i mix it with somthing before I paint. As you can tell this is my first time free hand painting in objects.

I have painted a few times on fondant and gumpaste and royal icing. I have used the food glycerin that keeps your icing colors thinned out if they get a little dried out. It helps to mix your colors easier and spread more like a oil base paint. I am not a expert in this, but it has worked for me. thumbs_up.gif

I've tried to thin the colors with vodka, everclear, and lemon extract. Lemon extract worked best for me.

If i paint something, i use a kind of dust with a bit alcohol.
You can write with colours and alcohol icon_smile.gif
