Every year in the spring we host a graduation open house. We invite area graduates for a tasting and I set up sample designs of cakes. Every I have new designs to choose from but this year I am uninspired.

I have sheet cake block. What do you do when you have a block?

When I have a block, I stop thinking about what I have to do, and look at pictures (not cake pictures, but pictures in general) related to the theme and go from there.

What is the open house for?

We host an open house for graduation every spring. We sample out cakes and some of our catering options. We display new designs for that years graduates.

It is always a huge success. We offer a small discount if they place their orders then. It helps with moms procrastinating.

How about pictures of school activities such as drama (comedy tragedy masks), soccer, football, basketball, musical instruments ... whatever school has to offer.
