was wondering if anyone has made water waves spell out happy birthday on a cake. my cousin and i are making cakes for our grandpa's 90th birthday tomorrow. she is doing a bass cake. i made 2 quarter sheet cakes and was going to decorate it using wilton's happy birthday imprint mat. i want to decorate the other one like a lake to go with my cousin's cake. i saw this one on this site,http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-photo_1244777.html, and wanted to make the water spell out happy birthday. has any one done this type of writing?

I would just use a thin writing tip and do it in wobbly white piping, if you wanted an effect simiar to the pic, you could do it in a circle or a spiral too...
