I am making a chocolate DF cake groom's cake with peanut butter filling? I was thinking of covering it in MMF so that is looks nice and white.

Should I
cover in ganache first for a smoother base or will that be too much chocolate?

or will the ganache, DF, pb filling and MMF taste good?

I have never done ganache before or and fondant once...my cakes are frozen...do they need to completly thaw for those? And then afterwards...do i need to refrige??? OR should I just stick to BC....I am looking for the least teadious way to decorate this cake with a nice finish

Thanks
