Hi Everyone,

I'm a hobby baker, just starting out, who needs to buy new pans with straight edges (I never realized the ones I owned were not straight).

I bake just for friends and family.

I don't want to buy a duplicate set of each so which will benefit me more, 2 inch high rounds or 3 inch high rounds?

Renee

I like the 2-inch high pans.

A lot depends on your oven, the 3" pans can take longer to cook,if you've got a convection oven you can probably use the 3' because you'll need to cook at a lower temp. Persoanlly I've got both but I prefer using my 2' pans. My 3" pans I us as a bain marie when I make cheese cakes LOL

When I decided to invest in good pans I got 3" and love them! I can get more layers w/ less baking. They will take a bit longer to bake, but Im fine w/that. Theyre great for molding Ice Cream cakes in too, if you do those.
