Hi, here i go, haven't tried it yet, making dad's cake, i have 3 8 in layers do you know about how much bc i might need, from what i've seen i just need a crumb coat on the side's, i think i have a bad habit of when i do a two tone cake example: doing the top lighter blue and basket weave the bottom border a little darker, and same as top border, then two tone roses in same color's, what would be good for the roses, i have a hard time thinking outside the box, actually thinking lol. thanks, hope i have it done in by 7

What about some coordinating colors? Roses in yellow or orange, or both with green leaves? You could even use the coordinating color for the vertical lines of the basket weave. HTH
